How do I get started?

FIRST:
Gather clothing, shoes, gear, equipment, etc. that you wish to sell.

Consignment sales accepts only accepts items that are in Excellent Used Condition. When sorting through your stuff, ask yourself, “Would I buy this, in the condition that it’s in?” If the answer is, “Yes!” then add it to the pile. If not please donate it.

Items must be season appropriate (spring and summer clothes for spring sales, fall and winter clothes for fall sales) and all clothing/bedding should be freshly laundered and neatly folded.

Shoes must be extremely clean – especially their soles, with minimal wear inside and out.

NEXT:
Check carefully for stains – especially on necklines, knees, cuffs and the front of items. Also look for tiny holes, missing buttons, and non-functional zippers.
Check for recalls (see below)
*Consignment sales automatically donates all clothing that is stained or ripped. Please check your items carefully (under GOOD lighting/daylight) before you bring them to me.

Baby gear and Toys must be clean, wiped down and ready to be tagged. Items must have all parts to be considered for sale.

All items requiring batteries must arrive with fresh batteries installed and be in excellent working condition. Otherwise I charge $.50 per battery.

Neatly place your folded clothes and/or items into large garbage bags or boxes, clearly write your name on a piece of masking tape and affix it to the garbage bag or box. Shoes should be bagged separately.

FINALLY:
Contact me and we will coordinate a time for you to Drop-off your items.

Please bring $12 so I can register you as a consignor for the sale. I will choose a password for you and email it to you so that you may have access to your consignor account.

I will contact you when your items are ready for drop off to the sale (unless you choose for me to drop off and pick up for you).
